In the wake of the EELV congress, the MEP has set out his ambitions: to transform the Greens into a wider and more credible movement to conquer the Elysée.
He embodied the success of environmentalists in the European elections. Yannick Jadot, former leader of Europe Ecology-the Greens, carries some of the hopes of this generation that wants to put the defence of the environment at the heart of any political project and make reducing inequality a priority.
While Julien Bayou has just been propelled to the head of the party, Yannick Jadot assumes this "ecologico-social" ambition. He also shows his determination to see his party exercise the highest responsibilities, all the way to the Elysée Palace. But, in order to win, the MEP calls on EELV to "exceed" by committing substantive work on a "project of ideas". The one that places ecology at the heart of the political landscape, the one that brings society together by demonstrating that we can bring ourselves together.
